Our first single-origin offering from Latin America, Colombia El Vergel reflects our careful approach to sourcing great coffees. Several years ago, Martha and her two sons, Elias and Shady, started to work with experimental coffee in a way that would help them improve the quality of life of the families that worked together. This project eventually came to be known as El Vergel.
Grown at 1450 meters in the Tolima region of Colombia, this micro-lot coffee undergoes six hours of aerobic fermentation in sealed bags along with an additional twenty hours aerobic fermentation in steel tanks. The result is a bright and balanced coffee with a creamy body and notes of red apple, honey, and hazelnut.
This fully washed single origin is absolutely incredible. You’ll certainly want to drink it slowly and savor every drop.
