Grown in the high-elevation village of Law Wu in Northern Thailand, this single origin coffee comes from a Lahu farming community with a long connection to coffee cultivation. At approximately 1,700 meters, the village provides cool growing conditions that allow coffee cherries to mature slowly and develop sweetness and complexity.

After harvest, ripe coffee cherries are dried with the fruit intact before the beans are removed. This extended contact with the cherry helps develop a sweeter, more fruit-forward profile while contributing to the coffee's syrupy body and vibrant character.

Expect notes of raspberry jam, shortbread cookie, and raisin, balanced by bright acidity and a smooth, syrupy texture. The result is a lively and expressive cup that highlights a distinctive side of Thai specialty coffee.

Lots of flavor, smooth I have enjoyed several of your roasts over the years and I finally had a chance to try this one today and all I can say is wow! I usually go for the darkest roasts, but our coffee team at the office has had me branching in the more flavorful beans like Ethiopian. We are all enjoying a cup of the Doi Wiang today... I highly suggest getting yourself a cup too

Great roast! Full of flavor. I usually drink a dark roast and wanted to try a specialty roast. I purchased this on sale and was not disappointed. It is a lighter roast and you can taste the hint of sweetness as they describe. Almost like cherry. One of my new favs. I will buy again.

Doi Wiang Delicious. Very nice roast, soft dried fruit note reminiscent of East African beans. Medium-coarse grind for pour-over is my jam.

A delicious cup of coffee with a hint of earthy sweetness We are big fans of the honey process coffees, but we decided to branch out and give this one to go. Preferring light roasts with their vibrancy, acidity and cleaner notes, the natural process sounded like a delightful twist. The flavor of the coffee had all the notes we were looking for, with the additional hint of sweetness that you would associate with a dried berry. Unlike the sweetness of sugar, the flavor was an earthy sweetness, complex but without being overly complicated. We will definitely be adding this to our normal rotation.

WHERE DOES YOUR COFFEE COME FROM?

We source coffee beans from several locations, but we're most known for our work in Thailand. You see we believe that coffee should not only taste great, but it should be sourced responsibly and in a transparent fashion. This is why we choose to source from areas where we can work directly with farms and ensure they're paid well for their hard work.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY COFFEE

Our goal is ship any orders within one business day, however in many cases we're able to process and ship your order same day. Once your order has been packaged you'll receive a notification with tracking information so you can track your coffee every step of its journey.

HOW LONG WILL MY COFFEE STAY FRESH?

Like any perishable food product, your coffee beans will lose their flavor over time. To make sure you get the most out of your coffee beans, we roast and package each week so that they arrive at your door at peak freshness. Each of our bags is hand stamped with the date your coffee beans were roasted so you can brew with confidence. We recommend consuming your coffee beans within four to six weeks of opening to really get the most out of your coffee.
